Michigan Assured Admission Pact (MAAP)

Eastern Michigan University is one of ten Michigan public universities to form the Michigan Assured Admission Pact (MAAP), committed to admitting all Michigan high school graduates who have earned a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale).

MAAP universities believe that a uniform and widely-communicated standard for admission will reduce the uncertainty and anxiety that are often part of the college admission process and enable students to realize their full educational potential. MAAP is a cooperative, cross-institutional effort aimed at increasing awareness of educational options among recent high school graduates and demystifying the admission process.
