A NetID account is used to access the My.Emich portal, Google Workspace, I.T. lab computers, WiFi network, and other campus services. EMU employees may also use their NetID account to access enterprise systems such as Banner, Xtender, and shared network drives, depending on their role and account permissions.
It is important to use safe computing practices to protect your NetID account, and the university’s systems. Begin by selecting a strong password for your account, and never share your password with others.
