Tuition and Fees

The tuition and fee information below is in effect for the 2023–2024 academic year (Fall 2023, Winter 2024, and Summer 2024 semesters).

To encourage students to take more credits and graduate in four years, the EMU Board of Regents approved the adoption of a Block Tuition pricing model. Undergraduate students taking between 12 and 16 credit hours will pay one flat rate of $7600. Credits under 1-11 and over 17 are charged as noted below.

For purposes of Eastern Michigan University's agreement with the Department of Defense, the standard per credit hour charge for full time undergraduate students is $506.66.
