Anti-Malware Software
EMU has moved from McAfee anti-malware software to Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection (SCEP). SCEP works similarly to the way the McAfee product worked. The anti-virus software on each computer communicates to the System Center server much like McAfee communicated to the campus EPO server for updates and also to report virus infection and remediation details.
Common questions and answers about the software can be found in Frequently Asked Questions.
Free At-Home Antivirus Software
Most Internet Service Providers (ISPs) offer free or reduced price antivirus solutions to their customers. Check with your home ISP (e.g. Comcast, AT&T or Verizon) to see what they offer.
If your ISP does not provide free antivirus software, you can try one of the following free antivirus solutions.
