Undergraduate Student Opportunities

The SEED lab is looking for undergraduate research assistants (opportunites for paid positions or for course credit) to help on various studies. We need students to recruit participants, collect data from families with young children, transcribe videos, enter data, code videos, and help with other study tasks. Lab meetings are Friday afternoons and attendance is required for lab members. Research assistants are admitted to the lab three times per year (September, January, and May). Learn more or complete an application.

Graduate Student Opportunities

The SEED Lab will be accepting an incoming doctoral student for Fall 2025 who will be co-mentored by Drs. Lawler and Staples. The SEED Lab will also be accepting new masters level students for the 2025-2026 academic year. See the psychology department program page for more information on graduate admissions.

Mentoring Philosophy

Prospective graduate students, please review Dr. Lawler's mentoring philosophy to see if you think the lab would be a good fit for you.
